Join us for an interactive workshop to help you gain an understanding of the how the "OFAC" system works, and also, to help you wrap your arms around the FTB's new form and procedures, to avoid incurring costly FINES for your company.

Hear from a Banking Representative about the bank wiring system, and from Escrow Administrators and your peers about misunderstandings that are causing errors on Form 593, as seen to-date. Understanding the 2020 Form 593 is a moving target -- we'll be sharing answers to questions that have been posed to the FTB, including (but not limited to):

  • Do you know the difference between "Grantor" and "Nongrantor" Trusts?
  • Are you inviting a penalty for simply not including the escrow close date on the form?
  • Is your software automatically populating TOO MUCH information on your 593s?
  • Have you updated the contents of your seller closing packages - and will you be fined if you don't?
  • Can you afford to wait until close of escrow to review your 593s?
