2025 has been an exciting year as we closely monitored the new FinCEN AML developments and hosted a highly informative CEA Conference featuring outstanding speakers and excellent attendance. It has been my honor to serve as your 2025 OCEA President, and I look forward to seeing our membership continue to grow in 2026 as we work together to make our organization the best it can be.

I am pleased to pass the baton to our 2026 President, Denise Hueth. I encourage all members to reach out and help recruit new members, get involved, join a committee, and - most importantly - make your voices heard.

Thank you Robin for that wonderful introduction. I personally want to thank you for all your mentorship and encouragement through the years. Our favorite saying is “it takes a Village” and that statement is so true in our organization. We truly have a Village of dedicated and professional individuals who make the Board function fully as a whole and cohesive unit. We will continue to thrive and provide up to date educational opportunities for our Membership. I look forward to this opportunity and I am grateful to our “Village” for all their continued efforts.
