Happy Spring! Even though there has been lots of rain (and more snow in the mountains), spring is here. I am looking forward to longer days and warmer temperatures!

Since my last message we have had two great meetings. In February we had Patty Sather who shared some great information on Marketing From Your Desk. We had another great meeting last week, where our CEA President Juliana Tu shared her thoughts and wisdom about escrow and marketing. Juliana reminded all of us the importance of staying on top of what is going on in our business, not just from a legislative perspective, but also from a technology and trend perspective. I couldn’t agree more with her. Now is the time for us to plan for our escrow future, both personally and also as an industry.

Which is the perfect lead-in to my next topic. You’ve heard me talk about our OCEA Day of Education. Come join us at the National University in Costa Mesa from 9 AM to 3 PM on April 13, 2019. Besides a great line up of speakers, we will also have our new roundtable sessions discussing solutions to prevent some of the escrow war stories that we will share. I am excited about the new roundtable session we’re going to bring you!
