Happy summer to everyone!

It’s hard to believe we are already almost halfway through 2022! We have had some excellent meetings so far this year with Michael Haas, Mike Belote and Nancy Tarr who spoke on What’s New in 2022; Jennifer Felten with RELAW, Bill Exeter with Exeter 1031 Exchange. We hope you attended, as each speaker provided a lot of important and timely information. Stay tuned - there’s more to come!

SURVEY MONKEY: If we “build” it, will you come? We’re thinking about putting on a half-day of education in August. Please look for our Survey Monkey, complete it and let us know your level of interest. It’s just a handful of questions - quick, quick, quick. We appreciate your taking the time!

CEA SCHOLARSHIP: OCEA will be offering scholarships for the upcoming CEA Conference. You must be an OCEA member to win. Look for a flyer coming out soon with the scholarship criteria and submission deadline.

PROFESSIONAL DESIGATION CREDITS: Reminder 2022 is the last year in the current PD cycle. Please remember to keep track of your CEU’s on Form 502 throughout the year. To maintain your PD, CET’s must accumulate 15 CEU’s in the 3-year cycle, and all other PD holders must have earned 45.

The CEA Conference will be October 21st and 22nd at the Renaissance Hotel in Los Angeles, and will be a great opportunity to earn more credits - whether you’re lacking or not.

OCEA VIRTUAL COOKBOOK: Last call...We’re putting the finishing touches on our virtual cookbook, with recipes submitted by our members.
