A lot has happened since I began this journey as your President. We have had a Past Presidents night – brought back after many forgotten years. Our Past Presidents shared their vast knowledge and insight with us at the February Meeting. In April we were lucky to meet our new Orange County Clerk/Recorder Hugh Nguyen and learned a lot about recording issues. Our Mini Workshop in April was a reprise with Anthony Bourg, Bank of the West, with an update and refresher on Outlook and an intro to Twitter! The September meeting was a HUGE success! We covered half of the material we would have covered at our Day of Education had we not been forced to cancel. At the Mini Workshop we covered the latest on Same-Sex vestings with Debbie Tognetti, Title Officer with Fidelity National Title. Debbie then joined Debbie Bannister with Innovative Financial Services and Jennifer Felton, Esq., with Hershorin & Henry LLP for the Dinner meeting program. We had a lively discussion covering a myriad of topics. See November 20 meeting notice. At the November meeting we will cover more of the Day of Education topics. Be sure to make your reservations EARLY.
NOVEMBER meeting will be ASSOCIATE APPRECIATION NIGHT. Help us thank those that support our industry. Instead of the Associates bringing Raffle prizes for the November meeting, we will give them a break and instead we will have a Bottle Raffle.
